Born in Rahway, New Jersey Queen Taylor spent a lot of time living in Atlanta, Georgia. Eventually, she found her way to Milwaukee, WI which is what she now calls home. She got an early start to singing growing up in church and began piano lessons at the age of nine. She carried the skillset with her, continuing to sing and play piano while in school. She discovered her true enjoyment and passion for music around that time. She participated in marching band, concert band, and various choirs throughout her high school and college years.
Queen Taylor commenced her musical career in college with a major in Piano and a minor in Voice, but it only took a couple of years to realize she enjoyed singing more. She decided to become a Vocal Performance major to further develop her craft. With classical vocal training, she started to book singing jobs within the community for weddings and a variety of social events. She even performed with community choirs such as the Harmoniques Gospel Choir and the Milwaukee Symphony Chorus.
One of Queen Taylor’s most fond memories throughout her career was performing The National Anthem for the Brewers in 2009. She has, since, performed in two “Evening of Praise” concerts at her current home church and continues to perform within the community. Queen Taylor anticipates the release of her debut gospel, praise, and worship album, He’s Making Me.
